The physical plant is located on the second floor of the Hospital with sections for healthy newborns, intensive and intermediate care, and an emergency consultation room. As support areas, we have a milk fractioning area with laminar flow and a medication preparation area in an individual section. On the fifth floor are the newborn reception areas in the delivery and operating rooms. All newborns, after birth, go to the room with their family, supported by nurses for breastfeeding advice and promotion and, if necessary, for specific cares they may need. The high-risk newborn consultations take place on the second floor.
